Our Story

Since 1970, Wild Ethos has been dedicated to sourcing the finest ingredients to craft uplifting and timeless fragrances. Each candle in our collection is hand-poured in our factory in Wiltshire, using sustainably sourced, natural wax made of Coconut, Rapeseed and Essential Oils. We also use natural cotton wicks, ensuring a clean and eco-friendly burn.

What drives us forward is our commitment to nature; we know that it underpins everything, so we strive to preserve and protect it by limiting our environmental impact. That’s why everything is made here in the UK using sustainably sourced ingredients, and all our packaging is 100% recyclable. We aim to transport you to the natural world through delightful fragrances that are made using environmentally kind and responsible practices.

A note from our creator Joanna Simpson

I was always fascinated by bugs and nature as a child. I loved the countryside and all it contained. Some years later, a career in interior and garden magazines broadened my interest in bringing the outside in. I now live in a very rural part of the country and keep bees which are endlessly interesting and time consuming.

Creating Wild Ethos was an easy progression from this. Made from proper natural ingredients and designed to enhance your mood and life, we use sustainably sourced, natural wax made of coconut, rapeseed and essential oil blends. We also use natural wicks, ensuring a clean and eco-friendly burn. All of this is a result of experimenting and using trial and error to get the best possible results.

Everything is made in the UK, using sustainably sourced ingredients in a bid to protect and nurture our countryside.
